Maria Maleta offers a repair service for your leather bag, the waste is not wasted until it's wasted! So we will be happy to repair any anomaly that may arise, replace any part or simply polish and treat the leather, for example:

When we take care of ourselves, we feel better. It is the same for our backpacks. If we treat them well, they last longer and the planet thanks us. The leather is a noble and natural material that needs care and maintenance. In return it gives us quality and durability. Here are some tips to give your bag more life and shine:

 

• Although some leathers are made to be resistante, they are not 100% waterproof, so we recommend that you don’t use this material on rainy days and/or in direct contact with water.

 

• We don’t recommend the use of any detergent to clean the leather. The leather is a natural material, with power of absorption and flexibility, so the use of these products can damage it and leave marks.

 

• The way we pack our products can say a lot about us. When we are not using our bag, we must store it in its original pack, this way we avoid dust, light and contact with other materials.

• Avoid picking up your bag right after putting cream on your hands. If you do not want grease stains in our suitcase, it is better to wait a few minutes to use it.

• Any women likes to take care of herself. But also, we must have attitudes to conserve and maintain our goods and not just throw them away.

 

 

               - The suede is special so there are no wet cloths or oily cleansers. Make sure you have a clean brush, the best way to clean the suede is to brush it with gentle movements to remove as much dirt as possible.

 

- If the leather is soft and shiny, it is better to use a damp cloth, moist enough so that the water does not seep into the leather, pass gently until the dirt disappears.

 

- There are loose threads that may appear over time, for an effective and practical solution you can burn them with a lighter by quickly passing it over the wires.

  

- If for some reason your bag gets wet, you must dry it naturally, without direct sun exposure, wait and understand how the leather behaves. Never wash or dry it on a machine.
